Giclée Printing

Giclée printing is the latest technology in fine art printing, widely recognised by artists, galleries and other professionals. The process combines specialist pigment-based inks with quality acid-free paper to produce high quality prints with an excellent depth of colour. Giclée prints have a 75-year colour-fast guarantee, giving this printing method greater longevity and stability over regular printing. Giclée printing is therefore regarded as the highest quality printing available in the industry.

Our Printing Service

Our printing service extends further than printing alone. We also offer an artwork scanning and colour-match service to digitalise your original artworks. Find out more here.

Printing

We print using the Canon Pro-6000 which is capable of both large and small format printing. Therefore we can print almost any size, making this printing service bespoke to you and your printing requirements.

We are committed to ensuring that our prints are a true representation of an artists original work. In order to achieve this, we work closely alongside our customers. The printing service includes colour-match editing and provides clients with test prints. This ensures that the final prints are the closest possible match to an artist’s original work.

This service also includes the storage of your digital print. Once finalised, the digitalised version of your work is stored in our files and reprinted upon your request. For trade customers, this print on demand service also comes with the option of shipping directly to your customers (drop shipping). Contact Us to find out more.

Printing Options

We stock 5 quality papers, specialised for art and photography printing. Our papers contain ozone and UV absorbers which extend the print life by preventing fading. Combined with our pigment-based inks, the resulting prints contain rich deep blacks, vibrant colours and excellent skin tones.

Printing Options for Artists

If you are looking for Fine Art Printing for the reproduction of your artwork into prints, we stock two paper types:

The Smooth Cotton High White paper has a matt finish which gives your prints a clean finish, while the high white shade ensures that the colours stand out (intensified further by the use of pigment inks). Alternatively the Rough Textured paper has a similar look to that of watercolour paper, giving your prints a more original feel.

Printing Options for Photographers

If you are looking for photographic printing, we stock three paper types:

• 180gsm Photo Matte Paper

• 270gsm Satin Paper

• 270gsm Gloss Paper

Each paper type gives the printed image a difference finish. The matt 180gsm paper is a light weight paper which enhances colours. The matte finish contains no glare, meaning it is not effected by the light.  Alternatively, the gloss paper has a high shine, producing prints with excellent colour definition. Finally, the satin paper has a less-glossy finish, giving the prints sharp and vivid colours.

While these paper types may be suited to either artist or photographic printing, we are happy to print your image onto any of our stock papers. Call us or come in for a chat where our printing experts can discuss which paper type will suit you best.
